Quantum Image processing

Image processing plays a vital role in modern medicine, especially in diagnosing and monitoring diseases through tools like MRI, CT, and ultrasound scans. It helps doctors visualize internal structures, detect abnormalities, and make accurate, timely decisions. However, as medical images become more complex and data-rich, traditional image processing methods face challenges in speed and efficiency. Quantum image processing offers a promising solution by using the principles of quantum computing to handle large and complex image data more effectively. Quantum algorithms can perform tasks like image enhancement, segmentation, and pattern recognition at much faster rates than classical systems. This is particularly useful for tumor detection, where early and accurate identification can significantly improve treatment outcomes. By enabling faster and more precise analysis, quantum image processing could revolutionize medical diagnostics in the near future.
