About me

I am Badie Ghavami, a Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Physics and Computational Physics, currently leading groundbreaking research as the Head of the Quantum Materials Department and Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) at Qlogy Lab in Canada. My work revolves around the discovery and development of next-generation quantum materials, where I harness cutting-edge computational techniques- including Density Functional Theory (DFT), quantum machine learning, tensor networks, and quantum algorithms- to unlock revolutionary advancements in quantum computing, energy storage, and nanoelectronics.

With over a decade of research experience at the Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences (IPM) and collaborations across global institutions, I have made significant contributions to quantum transport, topological materials, superconductivity, and spintronics. My interdisciplinary approach bridges theory, computation, and real-world applications, driving innovations that could redefine future technologies. Beyond research, I am deeply committed to mentoring the next generation of scientists and fostering collaborations that accelerate progress in quantum technologies and AI-driven material design.
